The service was professional and polite. The food was good and I'd return to try other dishes, but nothing really wowed me. While the coleslaw was good, it tasted regular/store bought. The crab cakes were cooked well and flavorful, I'd prefer more crab. The gumbo was good, but not necessarily amazing. The chefs seem to "play it safe." The bread was harder on the bottom, but the to was soft. The live music is an absolute treat, and the drinks were on point.

The live band was an excellent jazz band. We had birthday reservations and sat upfront with the band. The food was mostly good, large party, so minor hiccups but no big deal. I'd definitely visit again.

I attended a birthday event for my niece with about 20 people. I was seated immediately and service was offered within five minutes. The ambiance was good, and the wait staff were friendly and entertaining. I ordered a martini and was surprised that the glass was only half full. I mentioned it to my server and the bartender explained that it was a 1.5 oz portion and because I specified "slightly dirty" martini, I had less olive juice. I asked to make it a double and was charged $10 for the additional shot of vodka. I'm happy to pay for what I want, but $24 for a 3/4 full martini is a bit much. My second martini was back to a single. There is definitely room for improvement here. I ordered the Seafood trio. The shrimp was tasty, and I disc that I'm not a fan of fried lobster, but it tasted good. It was paired with fries and coleslaw. I ate the catfish for lunch the next day and it was good. Overall I like the restaurant and will return.
